On Friday, May 18th the British School of Tashkent is announcing its first ever Quiz night. Since for many of you events of this type are quite new, we would like to mention a few details about the scenario for the evening.
more details... For a week and a half, our Year 1, Year 2 and Year 3 classes had been taking turns to use the computer room for accessing the ‘World Education Games’ website for the ‘Maths Day’ warm-up exercises. Then it all came down to a 48 hour period. 2 days in which all their efforts counted towards the certificates they might get in an online competition.

The purpose of the event was to further our home-school partnership by deepening parents’ understanding of the Maths curriculum as it is delivered in British schools. more details... BST opened their Pre-Nursery 1 class for children of 1 to 2 years old on Monday 3rd October 2011. Kathy Gustafson takes a leading role in group organisation as was the case during the 2010-11 academic year. As with all of our Foundation Stage classes (for 1-5 years), Pre-Nursery 1 will operate in accordance with the highest standards of care, health and safety.
more details... On Saturday 17th September we will be holding a welcome picnic from 10.30am until 3pm on the BST school campus. This is an opportunity for our parents to get to know one another and to meet our staff in an informal setting. As with all BST events, please feel free to invite any friends who might enjoy the event.
