This year our joint benefactors were Healthprom, a charity that supports vulnerable women and children in Central Asia, and orphanage # 102 that supports children with hearing and speaking disabilities. 

 

A huge thank you to all children, staff and parents who attended the event and who helped out on the day.  The total amount raised by event was 3 025 000 Uzbek soums, which will be equally divided and sent to the above mentioned charities. 

 

 

Mrs Barno Umarova from Healthprom and Mrs. Firdaus Ismailova orphanage # 102 attended the event and thanked the school community for its generous support.  Charity projects are a fantastic way of teaching children about the importance of contributing to your community and helping others and we would welcome any suggestions from friends of the school about how we can deepen our community links through further projects of this kind.
